Sammie Marquez Benson, also known as Blac Youngsta, was born on April 8, 1990, and grew up in the notorious crime-ridden street of South Memphis, Tennessee, United States. His mom and grandparents raised him. Blac has seen tough times during his childhood.

He started calling the store with fake orders of burgers, and when no one would come to pick up the order, His boss would offer him leftovers to take them home, but later on, he was caught and got fired for it.
After losing his job, Blac moved on to an alternative source of revenue and began selling different drugs on the streets. After some time, he got arrested for other charges.
